[TYPO3-timtab] categories

Hi,

is there any correct solution to this problem? I put a debug into the 
init() function of class.tx_timtab_catmenu.php and the $conf array with 
which it is called does neither contain template constants I put into
plugin.tt_news.*
nor
plugin.tx_timtab.*

So as a bad quick fix I put my targetPid into the defaults-array in the 
init-function and now it works...
