[TYPO3-Solr] how to get solrfile & solrfal to work?

solr 3.0.0-dev
solrfile 1.0.1 (T3X_solrfile-1_0_1-z-201212030008.t3x)
solrfal 1.0.0-dev (T3X_solrfal-1_0_0-dev-z-201305211226.t3x)
TYPO3 6.1.3

I can't get file indexing to work in my current project. I've installed
solr, solrfile and solrfal and added the static TypoScript to my
TypoScript setup.

But there are no files added to tx_solr_indexqueue_file
I have EXT:news records with attached files and I have pages with
text/textpic content elements with linked pdf files and some upload
content elements, but nothing is indexed.

I've checked the database tables, the order of the extensions in
LocalConfiguration.php

Any idea what I did wrong?
