right, plus a link to the page where the file is linked.

yes, you can do that.
Either use the tx_solr_ResultDocumentModifier interface in PHP or 
manipulate the URL using the 
plugin.tx_solr.search.results.fieldRenderingInstructions.url.tx_solr_file.typolink 
TS option.
