sorry for replying to this older post - but its exact the topic I'm working at the moment...

> plugin.tx_onetimeaccount_pi1.form.elements {
>   fax.label = Faxnummer:
> }

instead of

> plugin.tx_onetimeaccount_pi1._LOCAL_LANG.de {
>   label_fax = Faxnummer:
> }

it works, but for multilingual sites you now need to use conditionals to handle the labels...??

So it might be usefull to find a better way to handle the labels.
