[TYPO3-seminars] Best practice for link rendering in list item?

Dear all,

in the current frontend template you can find the following default entry for linking the title to the detail overview of a listitem:

<!-- ###LISTITEM_WRAPPER_TITLE### -->      <td class="tx-seminars-pi1-title">###TITLE_LINK###</td>

I assume that the rendering of the marker TITLE_LINK is done in php code? What would be the best practice approach to reuse an existing class for the corresponding <a> tag? is it possible at all without messing in the frontend rendering code?
