[TYPO3-seminars] Field prices (define new price) in a seminar

Hi everybody,

there is a field and area in the details of a seminar where it seems to be possible to define new prices with an own name.
I am able to define a new price here but I can’t find any way to use it. It is not shown anywhere in the front end.
Am I misunderstanding this function? I can’t find anything about this in the manual.
