[TYPO3-seminars] Managers don't see events

Hi,

I have set up pages and plugins like described in the manual and added 
some events via the backend. FE editing for managers is enabled and the 
default FE group is set. However, when users of that group login and go 
to the "My managed events" page, the plugin displays a message that no 
events could be found. What could be the cause? The list and details 
view work and the configuration checker does not report any errors.
