Upgrading across two major version isn't supported. It may work, but it
may also not work.

To avoid problems, please do an incremental upgrade via the highest
bug-fix release of each major version (including all steps listed in the
corresponding upgrade notes):

0.5.3 -> 0.5.4 -> 0.6.3 -> 0.7.3
