[TYPO3-project-seminars] date/time-formatting

Hello,

I'm new to seminars and got two problems at the start:

problem 1:

I have different kind of events:
some are just in a day taking place e.g. from 18:00 till 22:00
others take the whole weekend and start in the evening of friday (18:00) 
ending sunday in the late midday (14:00)

using the default-templates I got strange display in single-/detailview:
date: 10.-12.10.2008
and separate time:
time: 18:00-14:00
which isn't correct in any way

is it possible to have the time-display fixed to the dates?
something like: 10.10.2008 18:00 - 12.10.2008 14:00

I find different date-/time-formats but got no clue which I have to 
change.
