Hi Uli,

I've thought of exactly the same problems you described in your posting.

The people, I've to teach the BE-Module, are sometimes confused, which 
folder and tab they should choose.

The following would be nice:
The administrator sets up different system folders to store information.
These folders get assigned to the extension via TS (registrationsPID, 
organizersPID, topicsPID, datesPID etc.). Or the extension looks up the 
records recursively, like you proposed.

Then, if a BE user selects the module, the folders don't have to be 
selected, the extension automatically choses the right place to get the 
information corresponding to the tab the user selected.
