Hi Andre,

well, in my opinion a Topic/Date combination could be a solution but is
somehow limited as it requires a full registration for all sub events.
For e.g. conferences whith parallel time tracks and several talks in
this time tracks the whole registration process has to be adapted.

Concerning your problem with the other dates list. I did the patch for
bug 2076 and it works in my test environment. To let the "other dates
for this topic" list show up you have to create a topic with at least
two date records.

You will get two entries in the default seminar list:

Topic Title | Date of Date1
Topic Title | Date of Date2

When you click on the Topic title of the first entry you will get to the
single view of Date1 showing at the bottom a list of "subsequent events"
where Date2 is listed.

I did nothing special in addition to let this work. The detailsPID has
to be set either in TS setup or in flexforms and "other_dates" should
not be listed in hideFields.
