[TYPO3-project-seminars] List by category_type

Hello Seminars-Users,
 
i'm looking for the possibility to select the seminars by the
category_type like on this website:
http://akademie.sar.de/kursprogramm/themenuebersicht.html
 
Every event has an Category, so the customers wish to select by the
categories....
 
Which settings i have to choose to have a selection by the Cateqories???
Is there an other template and when yes how it have to look like?
