I got it exactly like this and just wanted to point out the situation on
the other end :-) Everything is ok.

Oliver and I discussed about that already and if I remember right, this
is on the todo list or already in the bugtracker. It is planned to
implement this in the future.

The battle plan for this feature looks something like this:
- If an anonymous user want's to register, a certain list of fields need
to be filled in (at least a full name and a valid e-mail address).
- The email address must be validated!
- The Seminar Manager creates a user account in the background.
- The user is registered with this user account (without knowing that he
currently has a user account).

It's technically impossible to have a registration to an event without a
user account (too many functions rely on a user account beeing available).

Of course, if the person would register for another event, another
account would be created, ...

This is just a rough overview on how I have it in my brain. I can't give
you a schedule on this feature. If someone likes to sponsor Oliver or me
for building it (or build it yourself), this will speed things up.
