I opened a bug report on
https://bugs.oliverklee.com/show_bug.cgi?id=188

As I had this with another extension before, I think it's a small bug. I
 already wrote a possible solution to the bug report.

For you, to get it working before a fixed version will be released,
please try the following and provide a feedback, if this solves the problem:

Add this meta-block at the beginning of the flexform. This solved this
problem in my extension bzd_staff_directory.
