Hi Thomas,

I'm interested in a solution as well. It seems that despite the message, the images are copied just fine.

I actually disabled these warnings by changing my browser's user stylesheet:
#typo3-messages {
display: none;
}
For chrome this is under C:\users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\User StyleSheets

Not really a solution and it only works locally...
