[TYPO3-RTE] catchable fatal error

Dear all,
I hope, this is the right newsgroup for what looks like bug to me in RTE 
since Typo3 4.2.
I am using T3 4.2.1 (same behavior in T3 4.2.0), cal 1.0.0 and changed the 
reoccurance in a base cal event.

Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to 
t3lib_div::array_merge_recursive_overrule() must be an array, null given, 
called in 
/home/bin/typo3_src-4.2.1/typo3/sysext/rtehtmlarea/class.tx_rtehtmlareaapi.php 
on line 75 and defined in 
/home/bin/typo3_src-4.2.1/t3lib/class.t3lib_div.php on line 1764
