[TYPO3-RTE] how to change the color of links?

Hi,

although my CSS for the RTE is catched correctly - I checked it via
Firebug - the color of my links doesn't change. All the other changes
(color of h1, p etc) are taken over without problems but not the look
of my links ...

How can one change the look of links within RTE or is it just
impossible?
