[TYPO3-RTE] removing a single tag (not element)

Positioning the cursor inside the paragraph, the first option of the 
format block dropdown would be "Remove block format" and should do what 
you are looking for. The same with the text format dropdown if the 
cursor is positioned inside an inline element.

There is also a configuration option to prevent the insertion of 
paragraphs inside table cells when pressing the enter key.
