I believe this is standard behavior if u use 
config.spamProtectEmailAddresses = ...
in your typoscript-setup

IMHO this is not a bug, but a feature to make it a bit harder for robots 
searching the net for mail-adresses to add to their SPAM-lists.

You can change the text (at)to f.e. (in)
config.spamProtectEmailAddresses_atSubst = (in)
