[TYPO3-RTE] Can anyone send me an example of RTE used in an FE extension

I've coded my own extension and followed all the examples in the API 
docs and extension docs but I can not get HTMLArea to render correctly. 
I can get to render as a simple text box.

Can some one point me to (or mail) there php fe extension class 
containing the code to insert and save the RTE contents (and any other 
conf files that I need to modify).
