[TYPO3-RTE] German Umlauts are replaced by strange char's, when inserted via copy and paste

Currently this problem is under heavy investigation.
A temporary workaround is to remove TYPO3HtmlParser from the list of 
available htmlArea plugins (in module Extension Manager click on htmlArea 
RTE...)
