[TYPO3-project-realty] TABLE: tx_realty_objects FIELD: floor = int(11) / possible to change type?

Dear all,

the database field "floor" is "int", so I'm not able to put in "EG" for
"Erdgeschoss" (only "1", "2"...). 

I'm not quite firm with this, so I would like to ask if I can change within
phpmyadmin the type of field "floor" to "TYNITEXT" without crashing the
system :o)

Has anyone an idea? Thanks for that and kind regards!
