[TYPO3-news] Extending News

Hi list,

I am using typo3 7.6.2 and news 4.1.0.

I am following the documentation
(https://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/extensions/news/DeveloperManual/ExtendNews/ProxyClassGenerator/Index.html)
to extend news with new fields.

Doing so, I created the file
Configuration/TCA/Overrides/tx_news_domain_model_news.php

But this file never gets executed - even after clearing all caches in
Install Tool and emptying typo3temp.

Any suggestions?
