[TYPO3-kickstarter] kickstarter not workin in typo3 4.3 ?

Hi all,

I created a fe extension using kickstarter. I did it by the book, the  
creation was successful, in the extension manager I see "The extension  
is installed (loaded and running)!". But when I edit a page, in the  
'contains plugn' drop down list my extension is not shown. Is  
kickstarter broken or am I doing something wrong?
