[TYPO3-project-formidable] atstartup renderlet:lister

Dear list!
I have been searching all over the place how to make 
searchform+renderlet:lister behave like datahandler:lister used to work 
before, but all other messages were left unanswered.
Please help me make lister show, only when search has been submited!

And another question: can I but searchform on one page, and onsubmit 
would take me to the other page with lister.
And also is it possible so searchform would be in one plugin(and xml 
file), and lister would be in another plugin. I need this because I want 
the search bow to be in the left column of my template, and results 
shown in center content block...
