[TYPO3-project-formidable] How to get number of results in a datahandler:LISTER

Hi,

I need the number of results which a datahandler:LISTER gets. I'm trying
  to get it with  tx_dhlister::_getNumResults() but this function
returns the number of rows gets by the sql query without limits and I
need the number of rows which will be displayed.

How can I get this number?

Maybe, I could calculate it by myself in plugin code, using form xml
conf to do it, but I think it isn't the better way.

Any idea?
