[TYPO3-project-formidable] defaultvalue doesn't work

Hi,

it's surely because you're in an edition context.
Default value only applies when form is in creation-mode *and* at first 
display;
If data in the form is extracted from DB, defaultvalue doesn't apply.

Maybe is it a bad behaviour after all ...
