[TYPO3-extbase-kickstarter] Problems with Kickstarter in introduction package

Hi Folks,
I joined this list because I have issues with the extbase Kickstarter.
I wanted to play a little bit with this extension so i started with a fresh
and shiny introduction package, enabled extbase and fluid, cloned the
kickstarter from git and enabled it too. After that i started with the video
tutorial from Sebastian Kurfürst on vimeo:

Everything worked fine while i was modeling my extension but when it came to
the point of assigning my new extension to a page the plugin-list just
didn't offer my extension as available plugin. I tried to add the static
template to my extension templates but that didn't work out either. What am
i missing?
