I'll do as you suggest, i.e. keeping the old labels and adding new ones where required.

Interesting thing: I made a simple mistake and got a lot informations about cross-linking :-)

Well, I understand, message arrived twice now.

But, is there a list or overview with the "dos and donts" on writing TYPO3 documentations with sphinx? Please, don't misunderstand me, but I got this 'job' of revising the manual without any instructions about the "dos and donts". 

I don't want to criticize this procedure and am willing to learn, but if there are some elementary "dos and donts" I think it would be great good idea to let me know them before I go ahead and may be will make further harder reparable mistakes.

Because pitfalls I know before changing something I can avoid what will save a lot of time.
