I think this should be handled the same as the actual snapshot releases. The 
old one becomes obsolete as soon as the next one is published.
For the sake of easiness, I suggest to just keep the documentation for the 
snapshot releases rolling on the latest branch and to not introduce new 
versions for each snapshot release.

A snapshot release is basically a tag, but the documentation should follow 
branches. Therefore we would have a documentation for each LTS plus the 
latest documentation which covers the snapshot releases.

Porting the snapshot documentation from the ext:core snippets will still 
take some time, but should be faster than the old process with a mostly 
incomplete ticket for each change.
