[TYPO3-doc] Integrating "Disqus" on docs.typo3.org

Hi,

recently I created an extension allowing fe-users to be logged in via SSO to Disqus aswell when logging into the TYPO3-frontend.

Just wanted to share my experience here regarding two issues which might be interesting for you aswell. As always I've to say that I'm not very deep into programming, but maybe my thoughts are helpful a little bit ...

1. If I understand it right logging into Disqus via SSO creates an random account on the Disqus site so even if users have an Disqus-account (with the same authentication-credentials) the frontend-login is not matched to this account. This means features like subscribing to a certain thread/discussion is not possible (although the link for this funcitonality is still shown beyond the posts). But for the documentation this might not be an issue anyway.

2. If you want to show comments to everyone (= also not logged-in fe-users) you must open the commenting for nearly everyone as it is not possible to hide the other login-methods like facebook, google etc. Of course you can show Disqus only for logged-in fe-users but this wouldn't make much sense.

I didn't find any documentation about these issues but if you're interested I can ask within the dev-list of Disqus.

Cheers,
Michael
