Ok, but in this case, this is something that should be explained somewhere (if not already) because 
the nuance wasn't clear at all for me.

100% agreed. By now, there is already some separation if you think there is "ter_doc" extension to 
render the documentation and "ter_fe" to handle the FE display. Obviously, at one point there must 
be some pointer on the TER FE to the documentation (like it is the case today)
