Yes, not a bad idea.

I would have a few suggestion if we reach the point to make it reality.

- When there are "No comments", it shouldn't be displayed anything.
   IMO, it visually clutters the page and reduces the impact whenever there *is* a comment
   In this regard, new comment could be added by double clicking on a paragraph for instance.
   It is a little less obvious but still OK if this is indicated somewhere

- Have an option to collapse / expand all comment at once

- Permalink on comment should be possible, ideally

- this should not dismiss global comments at the very end of the document.

Let live and see...

Do we have a roadmap for documentation by the way?
