Hi Daniel,

you asked about an newer docBook-Template for openoffice, i just installed
oo2.2 and there is an template and xslt-files to convert docbook to oo and
oo to docbook (you find it in the folder: /share/xslt/docbook)

the doctype openoffice uses is

<!DOCTYPE article PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.1.2//EN"
"http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/xml/4.1.2/docbookx.dtd">

And here are some informations about openoffice and docbook:

and there seems to be some filters too
