[TYPO3-dam] DAM categories not working

I can confirm, that dam_catedit is *not* working with TYPO3 v4.4.4 and 
dam 1.1.5. I can't even add a category (left clicking on categories 
doesn't even open the option to add a new category).

Fresh installation of TYPO3 and all modules, no suhosin installed.
