Hi Arne

There are several extensions you need to install to connect TYPO3 and other extensions to the DAM.

dam_filelinks makes it possible to use DAM with the content element filelinks

To use the media tag (activate in extension configuration) you need to insert TSconfig and Typoscript, see

There are some other connector extensions like dam_ttnews (no need no explain I guess) and dam_ttcontent (which is experimental)

Hi!

I am a DAM newbie. Just installed it, and it works in a basic kind of 
way. I can insert filelinks, but the files are copied, rather than 
creating a reference, which I like better.

Also, how do I configure T3 to support the <media> tag in the RTE?
