[TYPO3-dam] delete dam file from cli

Hi,

in my extension in TYPO3_cliMode I need delete file from DAM correctly.
I am able do it manually (delete file, delete record from tx_dam,
tx_dam_mm_ref, decrease counter in foreign table and update reference
index), but I am looking for some API to do it automatically.

I tried tx_dam::notify_fileDeleted, but nothing happens.

I am using DAM 1.1.5 and TYPO3 4.2.12
