hey ben,

we tried because we thought it was a rights problem. but this seems to 
be a bug in the way how TYPO3 handles the references from dam_tt_content.

we might have found a patch for that.

but if you want to do me a favor... try to export a branch of your site 
and you will see that references are lost somehow.
