[TYPO3-dam] dam and ftp

tried both. no effect :(

i wonder so much why this feature isn't requested more often and why 
this is not enabled by default.
if i think about the fact, that i would have to explain to my customers 
that i have to setup a cron job so they can browse ftp-uploaded 
files,...i would fear they think i'm insane.

maybe thats overdrawn but you know what i'm pointing to...
i think this is one of the major reasons why DAM isnt used more often.
