[TYPO3-dam] Which file-permission does DAM need to insert pictures in RTE

Hello,

 

I just found out that DAM needs special access to the pictures to insert
them in the RTE. It is not enough to only have access for U(user) and g
(group) it needs o (others) as well.

 

I used to upload pictures with a ftp-client which does not set the access to
o (others) but it worked with DAM < 1.1. Does anybody know anything about
that behavior?
