[TYPO3-dam] Managing permissions

Sylvain,

DOs: manage the permissions via a clever directory-structure and 
matching filemounts for each group.

DONTs: manage permissions via web>access media-folder;

As you rightly stated all dam-records are in the same media-folder, so 
you cant differentiate permissions there.

btw: "only upload on the second one." will not really work anyway, as 
"upload" means write, and thus includes a write-permission.
