[TYPO3-dam] Searchfield on top - anybody?

Hi there

I'm new to this mailinglist and the problem you describe is just one
reason why I joined it.

After a TYPO3 instruction this week I wrote down a step by step
"recipe" how it would (IMO) be logical to handle the linking of a single
file (in this case from RTE) for a user and what kind of problems I
encountered:

I would be willing to contribute some time to improve DAM but at the
