sorry, my TO-reply was not correct, so further down is my answer to stefan.


yes, with the construction he proposed, the main be_user problem was  
solved.

BUT i have a few side effects with DAM now which need further  
configuration:

- even though i can now include pics in RTE with EB they won't show in the  
FE
- i still can't create new sub-categories as be_user
- rgtabs doesn't work any more (that's a problem of this EXT i guess).

BINGO! you made my day!

i knew there could be an access-problem for my different be_usergroups,
but i didn't figure out how easily that could be solved.

i saw in the overview of my be_groups that the MEDIA mount was not
included although i gave them the necessary DB mount.


so now i can
- collect all DAM rights,
- access-lists and
- DAM mounts in one single be_subgroup and
- submit it to all be_groups, can give
- different category-roots to respective be_groups
and am very happy!
