[TYPO3-dam] upladed file order by name

You only have to choose the top folder and then reindex with the option: 
"index only new files" (or similar wording), so it will not touch the 
already indexed files;

Other problem is, that the files will be unsorted.

in general: display order depends on the FE plugin, so simply check the 
manual / code of the plugin you use to display the images;
