Hi Georg,

This does not have any influence. We found out that:

The max upload size for a file is determined by:
These two values in php.ini: (in this example 32MB)

post_max_size = 32M
upload_max_filesize = 32M

and this TYPO3-configuration

$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['maxFileSize'] = '20480'; (in this example 20MB)

and so:

$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['maxFileSize'] <= post_max_size
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['maxFileSize'] <= upload_max_filesize

php.ini takes precedence!!
