[TYPO3-dam] can anybody show images in RTE with latest DAM?

I played a bit with tx_dam_tsfeimgtag and I believe, it doesn't have to 
do with the class itself. It's the preUserFunc which breaks the image 
generation:
lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags.img = TEXT
lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags.img.current = 1
lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags.img.preUserFunc = tx_dam_tsfeimgtag-
>renderTxdamAttribute

Even if use an blank class, which just returns the content it gets (which 
is nevertheless empty), the error occurs as soon as I use the preUserFunc 
feature. Is there any other example around, using a preUserFunc at 
lib.parseFunc_RTE.tags?
