Do you see it selecting any OTHER sysfolder or normal Page ?
In case not, please re-check existance of a valid not hidden 
"website-language"-record on the root-page.

near your solution ...

despite loving to rhyme more on this one,
I feel we should setup a 420 + DAM-DEMO thingie
and more important, get the updated dam 1.1 doku & instructions rolling; 
(ben ?)
