[TYPO3-dam] Feature wish: Alternative way to fill out file information

Hi!
As Windows --Vista versions don't support image properties very well, 
not everyone is able to fill out all the information of those images.. 
Not to talk about categories....

Well, it would be nice, if there would be an alternative way to fill out 
those information offline. e.g. by creating a xml file or an excel 
spreadsheet for every file, that can be filled out, uploaded and parsed 
by DAM.

Kasper has done something like this for translation handling of TV 
elements afaik.

What do you think about?
