[TYPO3-dam] securing downloads

Hi,

  I was looking around on the TER for an extension that provides secure 
downloads. And found a couple, but was wondering.

I am using the dam, and don't exactly know what the best options are 
for setting up secure downloads in conjunction with the dam.

Does anyone has experience and what the best choice might be for 
setting this up?
