[TYPO3-dam] gd and im work, but no thumbnails in list

Hi guys,

i am moving a Typo3 Setup from 3.8 with DAM 0.3 to 4.x with current DAM 
on a different server.
So far, i seem to have imported all DAM-Content. On my new server, i 
only had graphicsmagic, so i've uploaded static imagemagick 4.2.9 to a 
folder and entered the path to bin in the install tool. Most of the 
examples for "Image Processing" from the install tool work fine, except 
some text renderings.
In the frontend, i use tt_news, and all images are scaled fine.

But i do not get the thumbnails to work in DAM. Typo3 4.0.4 only shows 
"No thumb generated" and 4.1 only shows white images. I have tried DAM 
from typo3xdev and from TER, but had no luck.

Does anybody have a clue where to look or what to change? I've read all 
posts about that issue and with the currently installed versions, i 
guess it should work?
